Pi Beta Phi Foundation

Overview

Pi Beta Phi Foundation (the Foundation) was founded on February 21, 1990, as the philanthropic extension of Pi Beta Phi, a women’s Greek letter fraternity with more than a 150-year history, 300,000 members, and chapters on 188 university campuses in the United States and Canada.

Results

In 2014 the Foundation engaged Trek Advancement to conduct a nation-wide feasibility study for what would eventually be known as the SHINE THROUGH - a comprehensive campaign with a goal of $28 million. After the completion of the feasibility study the Foundation engaged Trek Advancement as campaign counsel.

Trek consultants worked with Foundation leadership on all aspects of campaign preparation, planning, and execution. The SHINE THROUGH campaign was completed in 2019 with gifts and commitments totaling $32.3 million. The initiative was the largest philanthropic endeavor of any National Panhellenic Council member foundation.

Trek’s Competitive Advantage

Trek provided the Foundation’s Board and Campaign Cabinet the training and tools they needed to be successful volunteer leaders throughout the campaign.
